WebLock site and app terms of use

Use of the WebLock site (this site) and the associated WebLock app is conditioned by your full acceptance of these terms. If you don't agree with them, stop using the WebLock site and / or app. Your use of the WebLock site and / or app constitutes agreement to these terms of use.

The WebLock site and app are to be used on an "as is" basis and can contain errors and inaccuracies. The creator(s) and owner(s) of the site and the app will not in any event be held liable for any loss arising from the use of the WebLock site and / or app.

You may use the app for free for personal non-commercial purposes.
You may not use the app for commercial purposes (such as displaying a site in a hotel room or lobby, in an airport or in any public place) without my permission. Please contact me here if you want to do this.

The usual interdictions for a software program / app apply: you may not decompile, reverse-engineer the app or anything like it; you may not alter it in any way; you may not redistribute it, and so on.

Note on cookies / privacy: Like any site that uses cookies, WebLock also is required by law to notify the user (you) about it so here it is. The site uses cookies to store information locally in the browser (that's generally what they're for). For instance, the notes you enter in the reminder page. If you don't agree with this, you may not use the app / site.
Whatever you enter in the cookies never leaves your browser / device so you don't have to worry about anything you want to write in the notes, for instance. More generally, no user data ever leaves your browser / device.
Also important to know, the app has no special permissions (for instance it cannot read the hard disk), this can be checked. So it's even clearer that it's safe for privacy.
